The month of December is here again and that means its the time of the season for giving. I noticed a really nice post over at John Cow about 2 young boys (age 2 and 6) who are trying to raise money for their aunt and uncle.

Their aunt and uncle will use this money to adopt a young Chinese boy named Bin. So far, by selling various items and through donations, the boys have raised about $2600. Not bad for a couple of young entrepreneurs with a great cause in mind.

So, I am urging all my readers to blog about these two little guys and make a donation so they can meet and exceed their goal for Christmas. Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas you have to appreciate the thoughtfulness these 2 little boys show.

I will donate a portion of money from the proceeds of BloggerBands in the month of December to The Boys For Hire and hope you all can donate even just a dollar. Crowdsourcing is a powerful thing and if we all give just a little bit we can accomplish great things.

November Income Report

For the month of November I made about $30 after giving away $50 of my profit. This amount isn’t huge, but I would say it is pretty average for a new blog. My goal is to double this amount for the month of December.

What about the November contest?

I recorded all the relevant comments as well as all the trackbacks since the contest post and plugged them all into Random.Org to determine the winner (I recommend this website to anyone trying to pick a “random” winner - its better then just pointing at the screen with your eyes closed).
